Our light sparks after an intense month

I love this time of year, from later November into December, when the sun turns up for us in the Southern Hemisphere and a bright future calls.

Don’t know about you, but the last month or so leading up to now has been pretty intense, partly linked to the two big eclipses shaking our worlds.

Ultimately, these show us what we need to change to bring us closer to our true self, but that’s not usually a breeze!

There’s been a heaviness around that’s brought me back time and again to reconnect with myself to see what I’m feeling beneath it all.

It’s a relief that from today’s new moon in fiery and optimistic Sagittarius, alongside a bunch of other planets in the sign and an extra lucky Jupiter, we all get a boost of upbeat light to renew hope and purpose. Can you feel it?

Our inner flame starts to burn brighter and more clearly, re-sparking what might’ve taken a dampening over the last month as those eclipses plunged us into deeper waters to address something.

No matter what season of life we’re in, it’s always helpful to give ourselves space to just be.

In finding that peace, we can better hear our own thoughts, feelings and intuition, or actively meditate, or just feel more connected to ourselves, others and life.

We know the way.

The outer reflects the inner, so the ambiance we choose to create around us is a way of honouring and fuelling our inner flame, and there’s something about the symbolism of a burning candle that helps with that.

Lighting a candle or taking a bath with the beautiful aromas of essential oil-scented salts and crystals are easily accessible and pleasurable ways to create moments to support ourselves at this and all levels.

We’ve now entered this fresh season of enthusiasm, and hopefully feel more fire in our bellies. It’s supporting us in taking a leap of faith towards living more true to ourselves, however that looks for each of us. Fuel that inner fire!
